1915 Çanakkale Bridge Was Opened To Service.

The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, one of Turkey's most important projects, was put into service on the 107th anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory. The bridge, which reduces the 1.5-hour transportation time to 6 minutes, will undertake important duties in the development of the region in many ways.

The project, where the red-and-white towers represent the Turkish flag, has the title of the suspension bridge with the highest towers in the world with a tower height of 334 meters.

The main cable of the bridge, known as the project of the best, used 162 thousand kilometers of wire that can circle the world 4 times. With the concrete used in the bridge, enough buildings can be built for a district with a population of 25 thousand.
